Harm e Helena, coppia di mezza età, si trovano a testa in giù nella loro auto lungo una strada remota. Come se non bastasse, la gamba di Harm è bloccata e gli aiuti non sembrano arrivare. Riuscirà la loro relazione a sopravvivere, nel momento in cui ne avranno più bisogno?

Harm and Helena, a middle-aged married couple, are upside down in their car alongside a remote road. To make matters worse, Harm's leg is stuck and help doesn’t seem to be near. Can their relationship survive when they need it the most?

Mathijs Geijskes, laureato in studi teatrali e cinematografici all’Università di Utrecht, lavora come regista e sceneggiatore freelance in Olanda. Ha realizzato numerosi corti e tiene seminari produzione cinematografica e sceneggiatura. I suoi film Man on the Roof, Daddy’s little girl e JoyMeal sono stati selezionati in numerosi festival. Il suo STOP! Ha aperto il New York Film Festival nel 2005.

Mathijs Geijskes got his degree in drama and film studies at the University of Utrecht. Since then, he has been working as a freelance scriptwriter and director in the Netherlands. Mathijs makes short fiction films, company films and he also holds workshops in short filmmaking and scriptwriting. His first short Man on the Roof, along with Daddy’s little girl and JoyMeal, has been selected for different festivals. His shorts STOP! was the opening film of the New York film festival 2005.
