Ennesimo Film Festival never stops and is about to launch its sixth Edition! After last year’s event
developed on a double level – the TV edition and the itinerant Moviement Edition – we are ready
to roll in the charming location of the castle of Spezzano from the 1 st to 4 th July.
EFF is closely linked to its audience, the connection with our public is – to say the least – fundamental to us and that’s why we’re pretty excited about this comeback”, explain our Artistic Directors Federico Ferrari & Mirco Marmiroli. “After the great success of the TV edition with around 34,000 viewers each night, this year we’ll get back to basics with a live event in full compliance with all the current provisions to ensure maximum safety to all participants. For this reason, we decided to postpone the event and instead of May we opted for the first weekend of July, in the hope that the epidemiological evolution of the pandemic will make it possible. This year’s big news is represented by a “special stage”: we’ll set up several locations within the municipality, plus a central venue in the picturesque castle of Spezzano. In doing so, we hope to reach out to the largest number of people and those who will not be able to attend the outdoor event will still have the chance to see the shorts of the Official Selection on TRC Modena and Bologna.
The detailed programme will be revealed in the coming months, but we can confirm once againthe international nature of the event: we’ll screen eclectic short films from all around the world,
including our selection of shorts focused on Design and Architecture for the Caesar Design Film Award night sponsored by Caesar Ceramics (this year’s theme will be “Design for Living”), plus the
final night with the Award Ceremony of the students involved in our Image Education classes. In this regard, we’re particularly proud of our courses that – despite the difficulties of the past year –
involved 54 classes in the schools of Fiorano, Maranello, Scandiano, Spilamberto, Formigine and Sassuolo thanks to the support of Fondazione di Modena (Modena Foundation), of the 8×100
contribution from the Waldensian Church and of the Italian Ministry of Education..
Being able to launch another thrilling Edition of Ennesimo Film Festival makes me extremely proud” affirms Morena Silingardi, Deputy Mayor of Fiorano Modenese. “Our municipal administration strongly believes in this festival and we look forward to discover this year’s new collaborations accompanied by the “old” partners and friends as well. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank in advance all the organizers for their commitment to set up this sixth live edition, I’m sure that all their efforts will be rewarded by the audience as in the past years… and even more!
