Performance –APRIL 28 4pm / 5 pm / 6 pm / 9 pm TEATRO ASTORIA
The hold of a ship lands on the stage of the Astoria Theatre. The magic of theatre, where everything is possible! A small setting, a performance in 4 nights for a limited audience. Props become narrative devices to evoke great stories. Everything stolen from Melville for a few minutes. As if you were in a hold of a whaling ship. A sea trip by Roberto Abbiati, loosely taken from Moby-Dick, by Herman Melville. The sound of the sea. What does the sound of the sea occur in your mind? Moby-Dick by Melville. A book, The whole sea in a book. Everytime you take it in your hands, something ignites. Then you start to think big: whales, sailing ships, oceans, and so on… the most exaggerated things.
