ADOLFO TANCREDI
He is Chief Executive Officer at Ceramiche Caesar S.p.A. After studying Economics and Business Management and gaining experience in the banking sector, he began his career at Gruppo Concorde. Since 1997, he has been working at Ceramiche Caesar, where he has covered the role of Marketing Manager and Sales Director.
VALENTINA SUMINI
She’s a space architect, and her research activity focuses on the development of designs and structures to enable life in extreme conditions, both on the Earth and in orbit, on the Moon and on Mars. She is Research Affiliate at MIT Media Lab and holder of the first course of Architecture for Human Space Exploration in Italy, at Politecnico in Milan. Over the years she has devoted herself to the design of lunar village ecosystems and Martian cities, and of wearable soft robotics to improve the mobility and safety of astronauts in microgravity. Among her projects: an orbiting Space Hotel and a system for the extraction of ice and water from the Martian permafrost, a city on Mars.
SARA MARTIN
She’s a lecturer of History and Criticism of Cinema, Theories and Techniques of Television and Film, and Television Criticism at the University of Parma. She mainly focuses on the relationship between cinema and other arts, with special attention to costume and set design, as well as the history of film criticism. She is the director of the academic journal Cinergie- il Cinema e le altre Arti. She works as an essayist and wrote many books on this subject. She is the director of CAPAS (Center for Activities and Professions in the Performing Arts) at the University of Parma.
ELENA VAI
Graduated in Phenomenology of Styles, PhD in Architecture and Design Cultures, she carries out action-research on the role of events in urban transformation. She coordinates the Research Center for Interaction with Cultural and Creative Industries at the University of Bologna. Curator of exhibitions, she has been responsible for the contents of Bologna Design Week since 2015, namely a series of events to promote the urban, cultural and human reactivation of the city. She teaches Design Methodology and inside the Communication and Prototyping Laboratory of Project at the University of University of Bologna.
GUGLIEMO RENZI
Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Florence, he has been carrying out multidisciplinary activities including Design, Art and Architecture for years. He has worked both in Italy and abroad, developing interior design projects for hotels, stores and showrooms and has participated in numerous art and design exhibitions. He has taught at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence and at the University of Art and Design in Halle, Germany. He participated in Documenta 8 in Kassel, in the 17th Triennale Milano and the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2014.
