ADOLFO TANCREDI
Adolfo Tancredi is CEO at Ceramiche Caesar S.p.A. After studying Economics and Business Management and working in banking, he embarked on a career with the Concorde Group. Since 1997 he has been with Ceramiche Caesar, where he was previously Head of Marketing before becoming Commercial Director and then Chief Executive Officer.
ELENA VAI
A Phenomenology of Styles graduate and PhD student in Architecture and Design Cultures, Elena Vai carries out action research on the role of events in urban transformation. She operationally coordinates the Research Centre for the interaction with Cultural and Creative Industries at the University of Bologna. She is an exhibition curator and since 2015 has been responsible for the contents of Bologna Design Week, a system of events for the urban, cultural and human regeneration of the city.
PAOLO NOTO
Paolo Noto graduated from DAMS in Bologna in 2002 with a dissertation on the westerns of Sergio Leone. He gained his PhD in 2010 and associate professorship in 2016, and teaches cinema at the University of Bologna. He deals with production, economics, institutions, and film criticism and particularly loves genres and popular cinema, archives and libraries. He would like to write a book on the post-war Italian film industry.
JESSICA-CHRISTIN HAMETNER
Jessica-Christin Hametner is the Editor of OnOffice magazine and Acting Editor of ICON. Her career began with an internship at Wallpaper* back in 2015. Since then she has continued to contribute to W*, as well as other design and architecture titles, including We Heart, FRAME and Dezeen. She has previously spoken at Clerkenwell Design Week, 100% Design and also been a judge of leading design competitions both in the UK and abroad. With a particular interest in supporting the next generation of creative talent, Jessica-Christin is keen to explore the future of design and to uncover the world’s leading innovations.
GUGLIEMO RENZI
Guglielmo Renzi lives and works in Florence. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Florence and for years he has been engaged in a range of disciplines comprising design, art and architecture. He has created works in Italy and abroad, interior design projects for hotels, shops and showrooms and has taken part in many art and design exhibitions. He has taught as an assistant on a course run by the Professor of Architecture Adolfo Natalini at the Faculty of Architecture of Florence and has been Visiting Professor at the University of Art and Design in Halle in Germany. He took part in Documenta 8 in Kassel, the XVII Triennale in Milan and the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2014.
