BANDA RULLI FRULLI IN IL MARE DALLA LUNA
DOMENICA 7 MAGGIO ore 20:45
After successfully performing everywhere in Italy on the occasion of prestigious concerts and TV programmes, including EXPO (2015), Banda Rulli Frulli comes back on stage with their new show Il mare dalla luna (The sea from the moon). The concert presents the band’s new album, which was released on 29th April. This year the Rulli Frulli’s ship takes off and passes the atmosphere, traveling across the stars and the whirlwind galaxies in search for a dream, a new vision. The journey itself generates knowledge and spurs the crew to keep going in order to listen to new stories and overturn the
way they see and understand things. Sailors look at the moon and sing praises of what has become the reassuring and accompanying anchor to their journey. What about reaching it? How is the moon like? What can you see from up there? Sometimes what is farthest can help us discover ourselves again by allowing us to take a closer look to ourselves. It’s enough to take a look back and overturn our perspectives, trying to observe from a new point of view the same sea that’s been our home for a long time.
The album includes tracks featuring sax player Luca Mai (Zu), Tommaso Cerasuolo from Perturbazione (lyrics and voice) and Cristina Donà (lyrics and voice). The scenery was realised in cooperation with Società Ocagiuliva, a non-profit organisation from San Giovanni in Persiceto which also worked on some stage designs for Mika’s world tour.
