Ennesimo Film Festival was created in 2015 from an idea of Federico Ferrari and Mirco Marmiroli,
supported by Morena Silingardi, Head of Culture of the City of Fiorano Modenese, and by the Deputy Mayor Marco Biagini.
In 2020 the Festival was recognised by the MIUR (Ministry of Education, University and Research) call Cinema per la scuola (“Cinema in the schools”) as good practice, thanks to the Ennesimo Academy project.
In the same year, it was organising partner for the project Il Significato Nascosto delle Immagini (The Hidden Meaning of Images), promoted by the State High School specialised in Scientific Studies “A. F. Formiggini” of Sassuolo (MO), winner of the MIUR call Cinema per la scuola dedicated to educational institutions.
In the three-year-period 2018-20, the festival has been supported by the Funder 35, a national call addressed to non-profit cultural organizations, mainly engaged in the field of artistic/creative promotion in all of its forms. Ennesimo was the only winner in the province of Modena.
Ennesimo Film Festival is a cultural event which aims to change the way people see the world through cinema. Its aim is to raise awareness of films as artworks and to show to its audience the various sides of cinema at international level. Ennesimo represents a direct and concrete
investment within the Ceramic District, useful to attract global and international attention on it and to make it even more “appealing” from a cultural point of view.
