Nigeria. Fourteen-year-old Papilou lives on the edge of a plot of land deeply polluted by oil that has leaked into a river. Crops have failed and his family is in a dramatic situation. So, he writes a letter to Shell to have everything cleaned up. Will they listen to him?

Xander de Boer is working as a documentary filmmaker, video artist and performer. He studied Theatre, Film and Television at the University of Utrecht. He is a founding member of the theatre group SXS Enterprise, an international collective based in Berlin, Amsterdam and Melbourne.
