Ah-Lim has been selling Bak Kwa (barbecued pork slices) for 25 years, and he harbours the hope that Jason, his only child, will eventually carry on the business. When Jason brings home an unexpected guest, however, Ah-Lim’s composure will suffer a severe blow.

Sceneggiatore, ha debuttato nei cinema di Singapore con il lungometraggio Banting proiettato anche al 34° Hawaii International Film Festival. Nel 2018 ha vinto il premio per la migliore sceneggiatura originale all’Asian Academy Creative Awards.

Originally a scriptwriter, his first feature film Banting premiered in the theatres of Singapore and was screened at the 34th Hawaii International Film Festival. In 2018, he won the award for Best Original Script at the Asian Academy Creative Awards.
