Kong is a screenwriter in crisis, who’s trying to meet a deadline. He is nervous, he has to get out of the current stalemate by hook or by crook. He tries but finds himself trapped in something new and unfamiliar.

Guo Yapeng graduated from the Performing Arts Film School in Hong Kong and immediately began working as a director of short and feature-length films marked by a predilection for black comedy. Deadline has already won several awards in his home country.
