Ernst e Leni sono una coppia di anziani che scommette continuamente sull'ultimo pezzo di cioccolato. Scommettono su chi dei due morirà per primo. Entrambi vogliono morire prima dell'altro, ma ognuno per le proprie ragioni. In modo ironico e poco sentimentale, entrambi dimostrano di non voler stare l'uno senza l'altro.

The elderly couple Ernst and Leni regularly bet on the last piece of chocolate. They make a bet as to which of them will die first. Both want to die before the other, but each for their own reasons. In a black-humored and unsentimental way, both show that they don’t want to be without each other.
