Ambientato in una miniera a cielo aperto, due ragazzi si ritrovano in un apparentemente innocente gioco di potere, mentre Madre Natura assiste come unica osservatrice. L’iniziale complicità evolve presto in un contrasto, finché uno dei due non viene improvvisamente risucchiato dalle sabbie mobili.

Set in a surface mine, two boys sink into a seemingly innocent power game with Mother Nature as the sole observer. Complicity quickly evolves into a confrontation, until one of them suddenly gets caught in the quicksand.

Jérémy Comte dirige a 18 anni “Feel the hill” il suo primo cortometraggio, portandolo in tour con il Banff Mountain Film Festival. Laureato in Produzione cinematografica alla Concordia University di Montreal si concentra sul rapporto fra natura e condizione umana. “Fauve” era fra i cinque finalisti per il Premio Oscar come Miglior Cortometraggio 2019.

Jérémy Comte directed his first short documentary “Feel The Hill” at 18 years old, landing him a world tour with the Banff Mountain Film Festival. He graduated in Film Production from Concordia University in Montreal, and has always been interested in the connection between nature and the human condition. “Fauve” was shortlisted at the Oscars as Best Short Film 2019.
