Johnson Cheng è un pluripremiato regista cino-americana residente a New York. Dopo essersi laureato in Relazioni Internazionali, ha scritto e diretto Iron Hands, una coproduzione cino-americana che fa da preludio al suo film in fase di produzione. Ha lavorato come stagista alla PIXAR e figura nei crediti di Monsters University e Coco. Ha lavorato assistente al montaggio di Kung Fu Panda 3. Johnson è membro del Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective Writers Workshop e del Motion Picture Editors Guild.

Johnson Cheng is an award-winning NYC based Chinese American filmmaker. After receiving his bachelor's degree in international relations, he wrote and directed Iron Hands, a coproduction between the U.S. and China which acts as a prelude to his feature film in development. Johnson began his career as an intern at PIXAR, and is credited on feature films such as Monsters University and Coco. He also worked as assistant editor on Kung Fu Panda 3. Johnson is a member of both the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective Writers Workshop and the Motion Picture Editors Guild.
