Lucy is tired of being the perfect mother. She is seething on the inside. When a department store security guard searches her stroller, he finds more than he could ever have imagined. A film about the absurdities of today’s mummyhood.

Lucy è stanca di essere una madre perfetta: ribolle di collera. Un addetto alla sicurezza dei grandi magazzini le perquisisce il passeggino, e scopre molto più di quanto non immaginasse. Un cortometraggio sulle assurdità del mondo delle mammine di oggi.

Born in Berlin in 1982. Raised by a theatre and Film Family, she developed an early interest in art, photography and the moving image. From 2005 to 2011, she studied directing at the Film University Babelsberg. Her graduation film Am Himmel der Tag won the ‘Golden Eye’ at Zurich Film Festival in 2012 followed by numerous awards. Currently, she is directing DRUCK, the German adaptation of the Norwegian tv-series SKAM.

Nata a Berlino nel 1982, Pola Beck è cresciuta in una famiglia di teatranti e cinematografi; fin da subito, ha sviluppato un profondo interesse per l’arte, la fotografia e l’immagine in movimento. Dal 2005 al 2011, ha seguito i corsi di regia alla Film University Babelsberg. Il film girato per il diploma, Am Himmel der Tag, è vincitore del ‘Golden Eye’ al Zurich Film Festival nel 2012, primo di una serie numerosa di premi. Attualmente, sta girando DRUCK, l’adattamento tedesco della serie-tv norvegese SKAM.
