Lu is a Chinese immigrant living day to day on tips from his job as a delivery worker. One bad night, his bicycle is stolen from him.

He is a Korean-Canadian filmmaker living in New York. While honing his craft, he discovered that storytelling through creative collaboration is the soul of cinema, and directing is his passion. He also works in advertising, where he has created campaigns for Google, Chevrolet, Sony and Peloton.
