Summer 2018, Belleville, a parisian neighborhood. Sylla and his friends, are following the french football team as they're about to win the World cup. As his mother struggles to pay their rent, he realises that he might be spending his last summer in the neighborhood where he grew up.

As the co-founder of a video collective, he creates clips and short films. He honed his skills at the Blanche Salant theater school and within the La Fémis residency program, directing 'La Dounia,' which garnered acclaim at various festivals. 'So long Belleville' is his second short film.
