A lonely man is limping down the road, when a truck approaches him and an armed commando seizes him and takes him into the forest. The only witnesses are some locals from a nearby village. Episodes like this are an everyday occurrence on the Polish-Belarusian border since 2021.

UNDER 35 DIRECTOR 

Szymon Ruczynski is a student at the Polish National School of Cinema in Łódź. He grew up in Białowieża, a village in the middle of the ancient forest that has been the muse for his films. He uses animation to tell stories and raise awareness of the social issues he witnesses.
