If there is one thing that Ennesimo knows how to do, it is to welcome and understand the different, experimental, innovative ways in which our century allows us to make films and tell the world through images – from virtual reality to the metaverse, to social networks and YouTube.
It seems fitting for a retrospective dedicated to Astutillo Smeriglia, stage name of a young illustrator who has become famous with his YouTube channel. His webseries Preti also earned him a nomination for the David di Donatello Awards. Screenwriter and animator, Astutillo Smeriglia gives space in his series to hilarious gags and funny stories, following his mentors: Woody Allen, The Simpsons and Monty Python. He is the author of the graphic novel Priests. The Mystery of Faith and The Craziest World of the World.
