Once again, this year Ennesimo Film Festival will work with university students and, more specifically, with the students from the University of Parma, which have been involved in the workshop History of Art Documentaries, that forms an integral par t of the course held by the Professor Davide Colombo, History of Contemporary Ar ts. The students involved analysed the dif ferent types of documentary star ting from the very brainstorming and design phase to the final production.
Working on the footage of “In un bicchier d’acqua”, directed by Francesco Clerici, as a final exam the students had to edit and create a personal trailer of the movie, inventing a new story with Gillo Dorfles as the main character. One year af ter the death of this great ar t critic from Milan, our Festival – together with the University of Parma and
Milan Design Film Festival – is now dedicating a seminar to Gillo Dorfles with the presence of Francesco Clerici.
At the end of the project, the students will get in on the action presenting the trailers they produced during the workshop. Two of them will be selected and then screened at Teatro Astoria during the Festival’s finale.
