With a career that spans from design to research and education, Cucinella places the connection between architecture, nature, and sustainability at the center of his work. During the evening, the architect will guide us through his vision, revealing how he designs spaces and how empathy plays a fundamental role in his creative process. Together, we will explore how architecture can be a powerful tool to create spaces that respect the environment and improve the quality of life. His vast experience, recognized with prestigious awards such as the Compasso d’Oro ADI for the Luigi Rovati Foundation Art Museum, and his constant commitment to education and research, make Cucinella a point of reference for anyone interested in architecture that looks to the future with responsibility and awareness.
MARIO CUCINELLA graduated in Architecture at the University of Genoa in 1986. In 1992, in Paris, he founded Mario Cucinella Architects, an architecture firm now based in Bologna and Milan. In 2015 he founded SOS - School of Sustainability, a postgraduate program focused on sustainable architecture.
