On the occasion of May 1st, an unprecedented cinematic bingo arrives

Between today and tomorrow, special attention will be given to the Academy and the youngest attendees

After a sold-out for the ‘Out of Focus’ selection held yesterday at the Astoria Theater in Fiorano alongside local sports clubs, with a focus on the youth, today, Tuesday, April 30th, was also a day almost entirely dedicated to students, this time those of the Academy. At 9 a.m., at the Theater of the Sassuolo 3 Comprehensive School, girls and boys presented the productions from the ‘Shape of Water’ course. At 12 p.m., in Formigine, at the Fiori secondary school, the Ennesima Youth Selection was screened, while two hours later, the students from class 1B Leopardi continued filming, together with director Nils Vanderwaeren, the incipit of ‘Grinta’ in Fiorano’s most iconic spots. The Academy students continued to showcase the productions from the ‘Your City’ course in the late afternoon and evening: at 6:30 p.m. at the Astoria Theater in Fiorano, and at 8:30 p.m., the production was presented at the Spira Mirabilis auditorium in Formigine. The first guest of the Ennesimo Film Festival was director Edoardo Morabito, who at 9 p.m. at the Astoria Theater, screened the premiere of his latest film, ‘L’Avamposto’, followed by a discussion with the many participants.

The festival will continue tomorrow for an event that will run until Sunday. On May 1st, Wednesday, there are six events in seven hours, all in Fiorano: it starts at 10 a.m. at the Biblioteca Ludoteca Archivio (BLA) with the screening of ‘Worldwide’ shorts, followed by the opening of the Ennesimo Academy’s exhibits with subsequent award ceremony in the same space at 11 a.m. Also at the BLA, at 2:30 p.m., there will be a screening of short films on climate change, to visually depict the ambitious Agenda 2030; from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., workshops will be held at the Ludoteca Barone Rosso for children aged 3 to 10 to take their first steps into the world of cinema. At 3:30 p.m., Artificial Intelligence makes its debut at the Festival, with new technologies like visors capable of projecting participants from the BLA into parallel worlds, and at 5 p.m., short films about Sardinia will be screened at the Library. At the Maranello Youth Center, at 6 p.m., Academy students will showcase the productions of the ‘Workclip’ project. At 9 p.m. back to Fiorano, at the Astoria Theater Café, with the cinematic bingo, an absolute novelty for the Ennesimo Film Festival and open to the entire community.
